Step of Christian Life
Finding out the direction of life is important. Understanding each step of life provides clear direction and aim as you live your life. The Bible provides such a clear direction for everyone. In this seminar, we will focus on First Peter 1:22–2:10 to see the course of life that the Lord intends all man to live.

Revelation 19:11~16
We can find many prophecies about the Second Coming of Christ in both the Old and New Testaments, but Chapter 19 of the Book of Revelation probably expresses it in the clearest terms. This passage focuses on the victory and glory of Jesus Christ as well as His authority as Judge. In particular, we learn from the passage about 1. the seven signs of the Second Coming of Christ, 2. the four names of Christ used at His Second Coming, and 3. the expectation and glory of His Church. The theme of this conference, "We Wait for the Kingdom to Come," expresses the spiritual attitude of the Church. To put it differently, it means "We Wait for the Return of our Lord." Let us learn from the passage how to apply its message to our daily life and relate it to our spiritual life as we wait for His Return.

SESSION in English on Fri. & Sat.
by Dr. Daisuke Okada
The year 2017 is an important year for all true believers of Jesus Christ, since it marks the 500th year of the Protestant Reformation. God used men who were convicted, convinced, and converted by the true Gospel of Jesus Christ to recover Christian faith. As we stand 499 years later, the Protestant churches today are having an identity crisis. Various waves of socio-cultural pressures and doctrinal confusions have caused many churches to lose sight of the truth of the Gospel. The foundation upon which the Protestantism is built upon is being shaken right in front of our eyes.
Therefore, it is imperative for all true believers to stand firm on the truth of the Gospel and to live in light of this Gospel truth. To do so, there is no better place than to look at the passages that changed the life of a man who was perhaps most influential for the reformation. In our first session, we will examine closely the declarations of Paul’s confidence in the Gospel from Romans 1:16–17. These verses brought the Reformers to the realization and reclamation of the Gospel truth. These verses tell us why Paul and many other faithful men and women spent their lives suffering for the sake of the Gospel. Our goal and desire is to see ourselves being confident and committed to this timeless and wonderful Gospel with complete confidence as we carefully understand the words of Paul.
In our second session, we will look at Romans 8:26–39, which in a conclusion of the first section of the Book of Romans. After explaining in details about the Gospel truth in the previous chapters, Paul provided his readers three unparalleled reasons why believers’ glory is completely secured. For those who believe in Jesus, the truths contained in these verses are worth so much more than any earthly treasures. It reveals the work of the Triune God in the lives of the believers, produces confidence in our future, and provides biblical perspective for the present life. Understanding this wonderful section of the Scripture will certainly change the way you view and live your lives.
