  茨城県牛久市出身。日本の大学で美術学科を修了後にイタリアへ一年半ほど留学。同国アートギャラリーでインターンシップ修了後、現在ベルリンを拠点にアート活動中。
  Naohiko Nomura born in Ibaraki, graduated from Tokyo Zokei University Japan, having been granted the Bachelor's Degree of Design and Finearts, attended Internship course of Accademia Riaci Firenze Italy, been having art activities in Berlin Germany.

   群馬県生まれ。企業の広報部でデザイナーとして働く傍ら和紙ちぎり絵と文筆活動を始め、新聞や広告媒体等に和紙ちぎり絵や随筆を掲載。1987年JECA前橋キリスト教会の舟喜拓生牧師に導かれ受洗。以後、いのちのことば社の月刊誌表紙制作等に長年取り組んできた。著書に「アメイジング・グレイス」、「片隅の花でも」（いのちのことば社）、「思いを伝える和紙のちぎり絵春夏秋冬」（日貿出版社）がある。分科会では近年取り組んでいる「ちぎり絵原画展示によるオープンチャーチ活動」をご紹介します。現在は埼玉県熊谷市在住。

　Chigiri-e is a type of painting using Washi (handmade Japanese paper). Washi is torn into small pieces by hands without using edge tools and these small pieces are used to paint pictures. Interspersed among the pictures are the thoughts expressing my thanksgiving and prayers to God.
　Profile : Became a Chigiri-e artist from a graphic designer. Baptized at Maebashi Christ Church (Japan Evangelical Church Association) in 1987.  Paints Chigiri-e for covers of some monthly magazines and books, designs paper products and writes essays. For several years, I have been working on inviting people to the church by holding an original exhibition in the church. Now living in Kumagaya-City, Saitama-Prefecture, Japan.

　美術大学油絵科卒業。牧師・宣教師夫人としてシアトル、フランスをはじめ、香港、アジアの様々な国を訪問し、主に水彩画を描く。現在福音雑誌の表紙を毎月描いている。日本水彩画会、京都水彩画会会員。

Eriko Yoshida  graduated from Art University majoring in Oil Painting. As a pastor/missionary wife she spent periods of time  in  Seattle, France, Hong Kong and various countries in Asia and drew mainly water color paintings.
Currently she draws the cover page of a monthly gospel magazine.
She is a member of the Japan Watercolor Artists’ Association, and the Kyoto Watercolor Artists' Association

   京都に生まれる。幼少より書と日本画を学ぶ。京都芸術短期大学日本画学科卒業。デンマーク人の夫と結婚。アメリカ、日本、スイスの引越しの中５人の子供の子育てをしながら制作活動を再開する。書と水墨画を用いての表現を探求しつつ、書道教室、書道オークショップ、個展を行う。

出展者のことば

  昨今、文字を書くことが希薄となり、文字を打つという行いが主流となった。筆を用いて文字を書くということが、私にとってはとても尊い時間です。

幼少の頃より続けてきた書と日本画で、私の思いを表現できることは神様からの大きなプレゼントだと感謝しています。殊にみことばをテーマにした作品を制作する時は格別なものがあります。制作の間は神との語らいの時間が持てるからです。

 In recent years, writing letters by hand has become rare while typing letters has become mainstream.  Nonetheless, writing characters with brush and ink is a very precious time for me.

 It has been a big present from God to have had the chance to learn calligraphy and Nihonga painting from childhood and am grateful for being able to express my feelings in those media. Extraordinary things happen, especially when I am creating works where the theme is the Words of God. This is because you can have time to talk with God while making works of art.

 I would be happy I you could share this experience with me while looking at my works.

　三重県津市生まれ。京都立命館大学経営学部を卒業後、７３年、片道切符でヨーロッパに渡り、ヨーロッパ、北南米、アフリカと世界５５カ国を放浪の旅をする。米国東岸プロヴィンスタウンでコックをし、英国エクセター市の語学学校で知り合ったスイス人女学生への手紙にスケッチを添えるようになったのが絵を始めたきっかけ。 ３年半後、帰国し三重県津市でお好み焼き店を営むかたわら、日本福祉大学で社会福祉と障害児教育を学び、１９７８年、スイスに移住し結婚。 結婚後、スイス•アッペンツェル地方で、３５年近く重度心身障害者施設に作業／芸術療法士として勤務しながら、村のリトグラファー・シュタールベルガー氏が開発したガラス板を用いた特殊リトグラフを制作。三人の娘と６人の孫。

　Kojiro Matsubayashi was born and raised in Tsu (Japan). He studied economics and then pedagogy. The desire to break through Japan's narrow framework prompted him to travel the globe. At one point he worked as a cook in a Portuguese-French speciality restaurant in Provincetown, USA. Whilst studying English at a language school in England he met and later married a Swiss student. They took up residence in Switzerland and had three daughters. For 27 years Kojiro Matsubayashi worked as an occupational therapist in the Eben Ezer home of the Waldheim Foundation in Teufen. From March 2006 he worked in a flat-sharing community belonging to the Kupferhammer association, finally retiring in 2013. In 2002 he received an award from the Japanese ambassador for Japanese-Swiss exchange.

デンマーク生まれ、アメリカと日本で育つ。そして、スイスへ引っ越して12年。現在、スイス国立工科大学で機械工学を勉強しています。小さいころからダンボール工作が好きで、今は立体モデルのソフトを利用してペーパークラフトをしています。
Born in Denmark and having grown up in the USA and Japan, he has been living in Switzerland for 12 years. He is currently studying mechanical engineering at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH). He liked crafting objects out of cardboard as a child and now does papercraft with the aid of 3D modeling software.
